Just Another John Day

Well, I just returned from a fantastic Rafting Trip in Eastern Oregon on the John Day River. The second longest undammed river in the US. A group of 10 of us did 50 miles in a combo of oar rafts, an inflatable kayak, and a good ol fashioned canoe. The weather was awesome and it . One of those trips that makes it really hard to get back to the "real" world.

Here are some pics from other cameras:

(Non-whitewater canoe + 20 miles + 2 operators that have consumed more than a week worth of R&R Whiskey) - (Class II-III Rapids) = Swamped Canoe

Calm mornings.

See, this is why I am stoked about moving to the Pac-NW, you can do this type of shit on weekends.

Maybe the canoe isn't for whitewater, but its got a mighty fine camo-weeds paint job, which is nice.

Minders - haha. no comment.

DC Josh - I've said that exact thing about 100 times since moving out here. Rafting, sailing, snowboarding, kiteboarding, kayaking...oh my I need to leave work ASAP. That paint job is pretty classy.
